Analyzing the Market Performance of Shiba Army NFT Collections
A new data page from Forbes is now tracking SHIBA ARMY by ShibaDoge — floor price, charts, market cap.

On its own, that's not news. But it tells us something about where editorial attention is flowing in this cycle: derivative meme-coin PFPs with brand-recognition piggyback potential are back on the radar. Whether that attention translates into actual bid support is a different question entirely, and one that the on-chain tape will answer long before the Forbes widget does.
The Mechanics
SHIBA ARMY sits in a familiar lane — a PFP collection riding the coattails of an established meme-coin brand. The thesis is uncomplicated: convert token-holders into NFT collectors by stapling a dog-faced avatar onto an existing community. Forbes giving it a permanent market-data slot means there's enough trading volume to justify the chart's upkeep. Volume is the only honest signal here. Discord chatter is noise. Floor price during thin ETH sessions is theater. What actually matters is whether bids clear on OpenSea, Blur, and Magic Eden with repeatable depth. Without a direct feed from those venues, the Forbes number is essentially a delayed mirror of a single marketplace snapshot — useful for trend direction, dangerous for entry decisions.
What the Rest of the Tape Is Doing
While meme derivatives jockey for visibility, the rest of the market is moving on a different axis. STONKBROKER — Clutch Markets' DeFi/NFT/RWA hybrid — ripped over 22% in 24 hours per Binance News, pushing market cap to $43.04 million while its companion NFT floor climbed to 6.479 ETH on OpenSea. That's the real signal: utility-stacked projects with actual RWA exposure are finding bid support in a sea of indifference. CoinMarketCap's latest on prediction markets points to the same counter-cyclical pattern — capital concentrating where there's a mechanism beyond vibes. SHIBA ARMY's challenge is that its only mechanism is brand equity, and brand equity in NFTs has historically capped out fast once the launch-airdrop cohort exits.
What I'm Watching
Three lines, no fluff. Sustained volume on the secondary aggregators past week one. Any treasury or staking utility announced for holders. The gap between Forbes' reported market cap and what the top wallets actually command on-chain. If the floor holds above initial mint after the first genuine ETH volatility event, the thesis has legs. If it bleeds out the way every prior SHIB-adjacent collection has since 2022, the Forbes page becomes an obituary dressed up as a dashboard. I'll take the under until proven otherwise.
