Cambria Sunsets Legacy NFT Collections to Consolidate Ecosystem Around $RSGP Token

Floor prices on Cambria's Founder NFTs are about to go to zero — by design. According to eGamers.io, the studio is sunsetting three of its on-chain collections ahead of a September 2026 debut of its genesis token, $RSGP, collapsing utility into a single asset and distributing allocations based on what holders already sit on.

What gets retired, what stays

The cull is surgical. Founder NFTs convert fully to $RSGP through a Genesis Airdrop — a flat per-NFT slice plus a variable weight tied to Loyalty Score, First Founder status and accumulated Points. The Core collection gets scrapped too; its functions migrate to staked $RSGP, meaning Cosmetic Shard generation and other roadmap features now scale with how much you stake, not which Core you happened to mint. Companion NFTs are moving off-chain entirely, where they're tradeable in Clara's Bazaar with Keys or a future spend token Cambria plans to introduce — pitched as a usability fix for players who never wanted to touch a wallet in the first place. Arena Tokens lose standalone currency status and fold into the new economy. Islands NFTs are the one exception — they survive the chop, keeping their role as the backbone of ownership and guilds.

What holders actually need to check

The snapshot already happened. At 10 AM PT on August 28, 2026, Cambria recorded balances; if your wallet held Founder, Core or Companion NFTs at that block, your $RSGP allocation is locked. It's tied to loyalty metrics, not whatever the secondary floor happens to be on listing day, so chasing a discount now is mostly noise. The perks that used to come baked into Founder status — fee waivers, boost features — now hinge on $RSGP balance, and post-airdrop the real question is whether you'll hold enough of the new token to keep what Founder status gave you for free. Holders who want immediate liquidity get one last burn window to convert Arena Tokens into Keys during the transition.

A Cambria spokesperson said that "current balances will follow the same principles as past transitions," pointing back to the earlier Arena Token-to-Cosmetic Shard conversion. Full tokenomics are still unpublished, and Gold Rush Season 4 is being redesigned around $RSGP across Standard League and Eternal World. The macro backdrop adds a useful frame: even as Cambria consolidates its internal economy, Bitcoin network activity has drifted to 2018 lows while price holds steady — a clean reminder that quiet order books and shifting foundations are not the same thing.
