merge NFT Latest Floor Price, Charts, and Market Cap Data

Forbes has put up a dedicated tracking page for "merge" — floor price, charts, and market cap read-outs consolidated into one institutional-grade view.

merge NFT Latest Floor Price, Charts, and Market Cap Data

dashboards are catching up. That's the real headline.

CoinGecko, meanwhile, added a floor price chart for the "monkeys makin money" collection, quietly expanding its roster of mid-tier PFPs into something collectors can actually track.

Two data drops, same week, neither with a press release. Worth more than another "bullish on NFTs" thread.

What the pages actually cover

Forbes' merge page delivers the fundamentals: floor price movement, chart history, market cap snapshots. No proprietary index, no exotic on-chain metrics layered on top — just the clean read-out a position-holder needs before deciding whether to bid, hold, or rotate out entirely.

CoinGecko's chart for "monkeys makin money" is leaner still — a single floor price line, no frills. But lean is acceptable when the alternative has historically been a screenshot from a group chat with no timestamp and a gas fee baked into the trade.

Why this reads as signal, not noise

I'm not pretending a price chart is a revelation. What I'm watching is the plumbing. Legacy outlets are starting to treat NFT floors the way they treat small-cap equity data — with the assumption that someone, somewhere, will actually build a position off the numbers.

That structural shift matters more than any single floor movement. It's the normalization that compresses spreads, surfaces real volume, and — eventually — drains the wash trading that's been distorting mid-cap PFP charts for two cycles. The broader market is already pointing the same direction: a recent CryptoQuant read on structural exhaustion made the same case for crypto majors, and the thesis travels cleanly across the stack.

What to actually do with it

Open both pages. Cross-check the merge floor against your own cost basis and the collection's recent trade volume. If the Forbes chart contradicts what your Discord is screaming about, trust the chart. If the "monkeys makin money" floor diverges sharply from its 30-day average, treat that as a position-sized signal — not a "WAGMI" post, not a capitulation tweet, just a sober re-read of your thesis.

The data is finally clean enough to be useful. The discipline is still on us.
